bynum is terrible right now, so expect the denver frontcourt to dominate the whole series.

I didn't say that they wouldn't outscore them, just not by 40. I don't completely agree with you Bynum comment though. I would like to see them give him more time. I felt like they got away from him in the 2nd half and should have gave Gasol a break.

As for the officiating, game 2 was really oddly called both ways. I thought it was called fairly evenly, but questionable stuff both ways.

I would say that Utah has the biggest home court advantage myself but Denver is solid there no doubt. LA is the best road team in the league though. I'd say its a split on Kobe/Melo through 2 games. Game 1 to Kobe, Game 2 to Melo.

I think the Cavs will be taking down Orlando tonight, probably pretty easily IMO. Cavs had their wake up/back to earth loss and should be back on it tonight, don't think this game will be close at all tonight..and honestly don't see Cleveland losing another game, maybe 1 at most.

Just like that and L.A. gets a win in Denver. Round 3 to Kobe,and I can't wait for the next one. We're going to see 7 great games IMO (just what the Dr ordered).

Unfortunately, the next game is Monday, Memorial Day....all Laker fans should remember what happened in the '85 Finals against Boston on Memorial Day.

Linus Klaiza is not Scott Wedman. haha At least LA did win that next game though.

Going back to the whole home court thing, saw in SI or ESPN mag that the Staples Center has the record in the NBA for best home winning percentage in the playoffs. That said it included the Clippers. I don't remember the Clippers making it, but I usually don't watch a ton of basketball. Even though that stat says LA is the toughest, I think I would have to agree with Stripes on the Utah thing. Those people have nothing else to do. That place is crazy.

I hate the Lakers, but I really hope we see a Lakers/Cavs Finals. Nothing is better than the two best in the world going at it for the title.

So, where's our resident NBA analyst Burton13 at??? I need to know who gave this game away for Denver. I'm lost w/o that knowledge. I mean, no team can "win" a game in this series--we all know that, he's taught us that...so who "gave" this one away??? This is gonna be the longest 7 game series in history if no team wins a game though, right?

All the above being satire...LA lost the 1st half of this game, then came out and won the 2nd half w/better shooting, better ball movement, and getting the ball inside. Down the stretch, Gasol hit two straight unbelievable shots over Nene with the shot clock running down. Foul trouble finally got to Denver down the stretch...that overly aggressive style of play, trying to push LA around to compensate for lack of skill on the Nuggets' part, caught up to them in the end. I love the fact that this happened IN DENVER...so the "LA at home ref bias" excuse gets tossed out the window.

Denver just pissed it away, controlled a lot of it and just didn't try...props to the Lakers for taking advantage and outplaying them. There wasn't anything mentioned as blaming the refs for the Nuggets losing, it wasn't brought up in the first game and the second one they won...And I thought Denver would win at home because of 1) the air as biggin said... and 2) the fan base would be unbelievably pumped. Neither worked to the Nuggets advantage last night, LA just played better really and Denver didn't. I say Denver wins game 4, then it'll just be completely up in the air.


Ready to WITNESS some more greatness tonight, I think the Cavs will take it IMO. I may be young, but my heart can't take those last sec shots..I get way too into it.







As for the homecourt, I think that a few places really have an edge. GS would be one of them, look at the Dallas series a few years ago...Utah is definitely one...Denver and this year...Atlanta and Cleveland the past few. It all depends on who the team is, if an underdog that really hasn't been any wheres makes it to a Con Finals or have a good season..those fans will play a big part in that and yes, I do think they help a that home team. Teams like LA, Boston have had plenty of championships and have been there...look at Cleveland though, I think their fan support has played a big part with their dominance at home.

Only thing I want to "WITNESS" is a Magic win.
